Dulcimer Project Program Costs

Stories and Strings School and Group Prices    September, 2014                                                             

Most of our musical instrument kits are assembled in schools, camps, senior centers, and similar group settings.

The kits - These kits are designed and prepared to be quickly and easily assembled by amateur builders using a few common tools. Quantity-discounted orders will be packed in bulk with a copy of assembly directions and the Dulcimer Project DVD training program. The quantity-discount prices listed below are available to institutions using purchase orders and to individuals buying six or more kits, and paying with one check. If paying for a quantity discount order by charge card please add 3% to the total amount to cover our processing expenses.

• Ready to play means instruments are painted/finished, strung and tuned. (You may need to retune before playing). Colors are barn red, green, and white. Unpainted instruments will be sent if no color is specified;

• Kit means pre-cut kits ready to assemble. The wooden parts of kits will need sanding and finishing with furniture oil, polyurethane or similar product. You will need to glue parts together using glue you provide (we use Elmer's glue.)

All kit orders come with one Dulcimer Project DVD to facilitate building. 

All ready to play dulcimer packages of 6 or more come with the Bringing in the Strings DVD teacher Training. (See details below)
